Meet Master Chu Yuh-Lung

Shuai Chiao Program Administrator at the National Police University

        Master Frank Chu (Chu Yuh-Lung) was born in Hebei province of Mainland China. He began his studies of Shuai Chiao in 1956 as a student of Chang Tung Sheng at the Central Police College and went on to become a national Taiwan Shuai Chiao champion. He assisted Chang Tung Sheng as a Shuai Chiao instructor at the Police College for many years and went on to become his disciple. In 1978, when Chang Tung Sheng retired from the Central Police College, Master Chu took over the position of Shuai Chiao program administrator - a position he holds to this day. He is responsible for all phases of the Shuai Chiao program from organizing and administrating the program, to scheduling tournaments and special events, to teaching weekly shuai chiao classes. He also serves as the head judge for all  national Shuai Chiao tournaments. Master Chu personally hosts an annual banquet party for graduating senior students of the Shuai Chiao program.

Master Chu with Yao Chang Ming and Yang Chong Hsiao - both were students of Chang Tung Sheng at the Nanjing Institute in Mainland China.
